As part of the "Kid's University" event, a day of immersion in the world of university for secondary school students organised by the Jardin des Sciences, four ICS PhD students presented a workshop on polymers. Mathilde LESCURE (PECMAT), Leïla GARNIER (PECMAT), Nicolas MILLE (MIM) and Souhail ESSADIKI (SYCOMMOR) introduced the students to the concept of polymers and their various properties by having them make slimes and studying their mechanical properties. This was an opportunity to introduce them to the world of research and, more specifically, polymers, through a fun workshop.
